Winter 1798: A Frenchman appears in the village of The Naul in North County Dublin. He is, he says, a French prisoner-of-war escaped from an English jail. Soon he is training the local rebels. He’s dubbed Vive La for roaring “vive la liberte” at every chance. But nothing is quite as it seems that winter of 1798. Especially when rebel celebrity Leonard McNally comes to town .. ..
